To conclude, travelling may not only be for vacation. As I speak, my wife had to spend the whole day to travel out of state to go get her sister and take her to the passport office to renew her travel documents because her husband lost his mother and they need to travel to Ghana next week to bury her.
Things would have been smoother if she had, done this renewal long ago because the Embassies can not guarantee a quick nor instant renewal.
There is naturally always a waiting list and these covetted documents are served on a first come first serve basis.
Egypt holidays have so much history and Cuba is stuck in the past!
Posted by traveltips
When you compare these two countries they are very different but also very similar. They both hold their own piece of history, but these histories are greatly varied. Cuba holds history still in time. Egypt is the place for Ancient histories. But of these two which is best for a holiday?
Cuba holidays have slowly come into the tourism light. Many people have avoided Cuba as a holiday but these days it has become extremely popular. Cuba is set in its own past, old cars and bars still exist and are doing very well, the modernisation of Cuba has come to a bit of a slow stop. Although they have a powerful military control, the streets of Cuba are lined with very old and traditional houses; the roads are pebble stone or concrete. They still hand role the worlds most expensive cigars as well. Some of the Cigar factories give people the chance to roll their own cigars. Cuba offers some truly great diving locations, covered in coral and very clear blue seas.
Egypt holidays have always been popular with many people. The prices have started to come down as well. Egypt certainly isn’t short of history especially when it comes to the first civilization in the world. Egypt is huge so in order for you to see everything that is available for tourists in this place means that you will need a long holiday. If anything you must visit the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx; these are some of the most stunning sights anybody will ever be able to lay their eyes on. These huge and wonderful structures have been around for millennia. Cairo is a great place to be for all the hustle and bustle of all the people and markets, many people visit this place just for the crazy trading atmosphere. Egypt is home to the oldest civilization known to man, and a library that contains some of the oldest scripts in the world. This place is considered the place for all knowledge.
So there you go now you have two very exciting places to consider for your next holiday, I would recommend either one of them, but for weddings abroad it has to be Cuba.
Communication Methods For Travel Businesses
Posted by traveltips
The holiday and travel industry is among the most rapidly developing out there. This is necessary because of the level of competition in the industry and the evolving travel tastes of consumers. A lot of companies are quickly finding that their practices are outdated and their potentially customers are going else ware because they are being reached quicker and other companies have more efficient methods of letting their customers know what is going on during every step of their booking. Below we examine 3 of the latest communication methods that more travel companies are choosing to utilise
Email. Although email is not the most modern of technologies, it is still evolving all the time and companies are increasingly finding new uses for it. Those companies who have embraced this technology, like Oceania Cruises, are using it to attract customers via newsletters etc, arrange travel bookings, deal with customer enquiries instantly, provide up to date information to customers on their booking and send out billing info to name a few.
Internet Booking. Even more companies are realising the potential of moving their booking systems online rather than forcing people to ring up or email they holiday requests. The modern customer is a lot more discerning than they used to be and are moving towards the more simple, less time consuming methods of making their booking which these systems can offer. Obviously this is used alongside other communication methods but companies who do not adopt this, especially in the luxury cruises sector, will soon struggle
Social media. You must of had your head in the sand if you’ve not caught all the talk about how great (or how bad) social media can be for businesses. However, companies that are at the top of their game or willing to keep an open mind, such as Oberoi Nile Cruises, are reaping the rewards by communicating with potential customers on their own level and in an informal setting. Twitter is one of these social media tools that has been put to good use by a number of travel companies who blog about their offers, news and destinations to attract new customers

Would you prefer a Safari holiday in the Serengeti, or go to the Seaside in the Caribbean?
Posted by traveltips
Two completely opposite holidays. You’re relaxing beach holiday and your adventurous Safari holiday. However which one is best suited to you?
This is all down to the person that you are. Some people just like to chill-out and sit by the sea enjoying a few well earned holiday drinks, if you do, then the beach holiday is for you. However, if you’re the kind of person that likes the open outdoors surrounded by the wild, then you have to try a Safari holiday. So then, we should probably look at some of the Pros and Cons of these holidays.
We’ll start with the Safari holidays. Kenya holidays produce some fantastic safaris. When you leave for one of these holidays you can go to the Masai Mara, one of the most famous safari destinations. These holidays offer you a wide range of things to explore, from animals to different cultures and people. The Safari holiday will be one of those holidays that will stay with you forever, experiencing things many others won’t. The obvious Advantages are being able to get up close and personal with some of the most amazing wildlife in the world. You will have an experienced guide driving you too all of the best places to see wild animals and scattered villages. This sort of holiday is a once in a life time experience, and with prices up to five thousand pounds this will be more than likely.
So then, if the adventure life isn’t for you then what else is there to try? Going to the Beach and staying at a resort is always popular. The beach holidays are those that can be enjoyed by everybody. The thing with beach holidays is that you can travel all over the world for one, and for a smaller price than a safari. You can go to the likes of the Bahamas or Barbados and swim in the coral reefs. One of the biggest issues that stands out is the price difference between going on safari and going to the Caribbean, Holidays in general will be cheaper than a holiday in Africa on Safari. Beach holidays don’t have to be overseas either, if you want you can go to your local coast.
If you think you’re an adventure freak, then try the safaris on Zambia holidays or Tanzania holidays where you can visit the Serengeti. However if you really want, you could head off to the Caribbean.
Wonders of Hawaii Volcano National Park
Posted by traveltips
When visiting Hawaii there are many different tourist attractions on the islands. Some come to visit the beaches to bask in the sun and explore the magnificent waters. Others will come to hike through the vast rain forests and to dive off the coast lines to see the reefs and underwater creatures. Hawaii cruises are one of the good ways to delight the beauty of the Hawaiian Islands. In addition to all of these adventures, there is also Hawaii’s Volcanoes National Park which hosts a variety of live volcanoes that tourists can explore via roadways and pathways so that they have a variety of options to fit the time that they have to visit the park. There are Hawaii volcano tours in the park so that guides can take the tourists through and explain all of the different features.
What to See In Hawaii Volcano National Park
One of the great places to explore in the Hawaiian Volcanoes National Parkis the Crater Rim Drive. This drive goes down about eleven miles of roadway where individuals can see the desert and rain forest as well as the summit of the volcano.Due to volcanic activity roadway used to be closed for that period of time so tourists should check with the park to see if the road is open or not.
Another place to visit in the Hawaiian Volcanoes National Park is the various places where there are lava flows. Individuals should also check with the park to see what roads are open to see these flows, but once they have, there are many places to drive through or hike through to see them. One such road is the East Rift and coastal area in the Hawaiian Volcanoes National Park. This road goes for twenty miles through the park along the coastline where there is lava activity in certain sections of the road. This means that the scenic views are always changing, as the lava moves and hardens in the park.
In addition to these drives, there are also day hikes, camping areas and biking trails through Hawaii’s Volcanoes National Park. Going on these different trails or camping trips give individuals a more personal look at the different things to see in the park, but they also require more time to visit. The drives can be done thoroughly in anywhere from two to five hours, whereas the hikes and the camping can take days to explore. When visiting the park, individuals should always have their cameras and binoculars along so that they can more readily capture the sights of the area, including the various birds and other wildlife that can be found in Hawaii’s Volcanoes National Park.
The Best audio book to take with you to spain
Posted by traveltips
Are you planning a vacation in Spain?
You need to learn Spanish. It is very important to be able to communicate with people you find, from the airport to the hotel you will be staying and even getting around.
So you don’t think you’ll need to know the language? Well, if so you need to know that almost everyone you meet will be speaking the language. If you’re not able to understand of converse with people it can really have an effect on your holiday, it could spoil your experience.
So, yes, you need to really consider learning the Spanish language before you embark on your trip to Spain.
Oh… You’re going away in the next few days and therefor will not have anytime to teach yourself it?
Don’t worry about that. Just getting your hands on the right audio book about learning Spanish language can teach you the language within a very short time.
Impossible?
Not really.
There are many audio books that teach the Spanish language, but my favorite is – “One-Day Spanish: Teach Yourself” by Elisabeth Smith.
This amazing audio book is perfect for any person that is think about going on vacation to Spain. As the title implies, it is really a one-day Spanish crash course that can teach you the language faster than you can imagine.
There’s no complex grammar or studying to do, just really quick and fun speaking practice. And guess what? It really is awesome for helping you learn the Spanish language.
Still think it’s impossible?
This is somthing you might find interesting. If any one person can learn a particular 50 – 100 words in the English language, that is all it takes to be able to actually understand and possibilly even speak the language?
A good example would be this article, it will not have more than 50 – 100 words. Most words are always repeated when we speak, whether in the English language or any other language.
This is the same thing with most other languages, Spanish inclusive.
This “One-Day Spanish: Teach Yourself” by Elisabeth Smith will help you learn the 50 most needed words in the Spanish language.
With this audio book, which is just about 1 hour and 8 minutes, will enable you speak holiday Spanish in only one day!
An excellent source that I have found for audio book downloads is Spoken Network. You can find them at:
