Camping is the ultimate adventure, and camping in the state of  Florida is inexpensive as well as great fun. A centrally located area like Milton allows the visitor access to many fun-filled activities and is close enough to Fort Walton, Pensacola and Panama City to allow the visitor to take day drives to these areas. There are plenty of camping facilities available, so you can just lift up your temporary home and move on to wherever tickles your fancy.

Nearby to Milton, you will find one of the most beautiful National Parks, the Blackwater River State Park, and this is a nature lovers hot spot. The river is pristine and makes the prefect destination for water sports lovers. Kayaking, fishing and swimming are some of the favorite activities at this vacation spot.

Fort Walton is famous for the Gulfarium, which is basically an aquarium facility where you are able to learn more about the sea-life of the Florida coast. It is filled to the brim with interesting sea creatures and you are also able to enjoy entertaining dolphin shows as well as the comical sea lions. The Manatee also makes its home in Florida and it is a rare experience to visit these gentle creatures.
